Every year PGoB enters in the Wagin Woolorama Interclub competition. What many of you may not realise is that the Woolorama has it's own separate photography competition, which some good prizes.

All details will be posted on Woolorama website in due course but in the meantime the attached document from Glenys will give you a few details. If you're going to enter please let me know as I've a delivery method that's not advertised (fee payable) if you don't want to post or hand deliver.

For those thinking of entering Wagin Woolorama this year and are hoping to arrange to have your images delivered to Wagin here's an option for you.

For a $10 fee you can drop your bundled up images off at Jacksons Drawing Supplies by next weekend ie 23rd Feb. The $10 will need to be in an envelope and easy to find in your bundle of images. For this you can have them delivered to Wagin and returned to Bunbury if required.

This arrangement was originally for the "Art" category but I've liaised with both the Art & Photography co-ordinators for us to have this option. Could you please post here if you're going to take advantage of this opportunity so that I can let Glenys know the #'s of images that she'll need to make sure that she gets.

Hope this makes sense. If not, feel free to call me 0417 810 650
Cheers Chris

Chris,
I intend to use this service, thanks for organising it, I intend to submit 8 images.
How do you recommend that I package them?
Regards,
Dennis

I just bundle them together and put them in a large plastic bag with handles, easy to carry but with a bit of protection. Not sure how they get treated but I've not had an issue in the past. Maybe staple an envelope with the money just inside the top.

I am thinking of making a narrow box.
I will be taking advantage of this arrangement, I will be sending 8 images, please let Glenys know.
The money for the competition will be inside with the entry form and I will have a separate envelope for the $10 fee to get them to Wagin.
I am assume from your post that the $10 includes the return of the images, if not I am still OK with using the service and pay extra for the return.
Do I just take them into Jacksons when I am ready?
Thanks & Regards,

I scan my entry and pay online, not saying that you have to but then I know that they will have my entry and the fee. I'm sure that the $10 covers the return but I've always been there to collect my images.

Richard Hall said that he was going to attend on the Sat and I'm sure he'll be happy to pick up everybody's.

Yes just take to Jacksons this week.

Chris,
I have already taken my entries to Jackson's, no issues.
I noticed that the lady placed them behind some large blank cards next to the front of the counter, I hope they don't forget them or miss them when it is time to take all the images and art work over to Wagin.
If you talk to Glenys please let her know that there is a set of 8 images from Dennis, thanks.
The package is well marked with my name etc.,
Thanks and Regards,
Dennis
