THE ART OF WORKFLOW IN PRACTICE
This Creative Forum is a full day session where Nick will receive RAW and worked images
from the participants and will then demonstrate the creative process starting in Lightroom
and then fine tuning the images if required in Photoshop so a complete workflow can be
seen from start to finish.

Criteria for what tools are chosen and in which order will be discussed and demonstrated
with audience involvement with the outcome being a powerful interpretation of the original
essence and narrative of the image realising its full potential. Primarily, this seminar is
designed to advance the group’s workflow techniques; their knowledge of software; the
development of their personal creative work and to deepen their aesthetic eye.
At the end of the session, worked images with layers intact will be given back to the club
members. Many various genres will be demonstrated including landscapes; portraits;
wildlife; travel; black and white etc.

Nick Melidonis has been one of Australia’s foremost photographers and photo educators for over
two decades. A Master Photographer; he was named number two in the world in 2016 in ‘Nature’
(landscape and wildlife) in the prestigious World Photographic Cup winning a silver medal. He was
also a finalist in the National Geographic 2016 ‘Travel Photographer of the Year’. Nick is one of only
three photographers to have won the ‘AIPP Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year’ three
times.
