A really good topic Jill, but we need you to come up with a category that isn't a repeat of what we had this year. ie Food photography!!

Maybe 'food ingredients ' 'baking'. Put your mind to it!!

"food - a 2 images collage - the ingredients and the finished product" - or possibly that could fit into a broader 'before and after' theme?

Great feedback everyone. This will be useful when coming up with the schedule for 2015. We will always try and aim for variety and not go back to something very recently covered but it is nice to know what kinds of things you are all keen to take photos of!

Thanks everyone for your input and ideas - there are so many and so few places select since we can generally only have 2 or 3 topics per month. I think there are around 60 suggestions and we can only accommodate about 1/3.

I am working on a draft schedule so that you have it to work from over the summer break. I have tried to think of ways to merge or combine ideas, leaving it for you to decide how it may relate.

There will be a mix of topics, some will require you to use certain camera craft, others may be related of a particular style of photography, you may be required to apply certain composition principal or ideas and there will be a couple that expect you to simply apply your own interpretation of the subject. Of course there will be a few OPEN to accommodate photos that you want to share that don't fit anywhere else on the schedule.

Remember, the schedule isn't all about your favourite subject, it's also about being challenged to shoot a vast arrange of things so that you learn to improve both your camera craft and post processing.

Stay tuned
